State seal - Maine Secretary of State

Larry Preston

I am here to let people know about my dad. He fought in Vietnam to help us all. He lost both his legs and was in a wheel chair due to shrapnel. He fought the best he could and was one of the lucky guys to live. He was able to come home and he and my mother had 2 children my sister and I. I am so appreciative of my father, doing what he did while there, risking his life for the US. Unfortunately, he got cancer from Agent Orange. He passed away 12-15-98 at the age of 47. I miss my dad dearly.

Larry M. LeBlanc

My husband of 20 years, served his country and flag proudly, from 1978 to 1994. He saw how a dictator took hostages in 1979 onboard the U.S.S. Constellation (CV-64) and he was onboard the U.S.S. Independence (CV-62) for the Initial Strikes in support of Desert Shield. I am very proud of what my husband endured for my and all the others that enjoy our freedom and our right to free speech.

Dedication and striving to succeed were the examples my father gave me; I watched him achieve the highest rank of a noncommissioned officer and serve his country for 26 years in the U.S. Air Force. I admire, respect, and honor my Dad.
