The Lobster Advisory Council will meet on February 10th, 2025, from 4:00 PM. to 6:00 PM. This meeting will be held in-Person at the Department of Marine Resources at 32 Blossom Lane in room 118 of the Marquardt Building.

Indian Health Service (IHS) proposes to provide water and/or sewer (W&S) services for eligible homes belonging to Native Americans within the service areas of the five Maine Tribes: Mi’kmaq Nation, Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, Passamaquoddy Tribe – Indian Township, Passamaquoddy Tribe – Pleasant Point, and Penobscot Indian Nation. W&S services may include on-site potable water well drilling and development or the installation of septic tank and subsurface drainfields. However, some homes may be connected to community water and/or wastewater systems.
Pursuant to 38 M.R.S. §480-D, sub-§9, the Maine Department of Marine Resources (DMR) is required to provide the Maine Department of Environmental Protection with an assessment of the impacts on the fishing industry of proposed dredging operations.

DMR Science staff completed the first in-season survey for Cobscook this past weekend, January 4 through 6. Data have been analyzed and two summary figures are presented below.
