This is the last of three virtual informational meetings regarding the FY2024 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) application process. This meeting aims to provide comprehensive guidance on the application requirements and process.
The NSGP, funded annually by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), offers competitive grants to nonprofit organizations is to provide funding for physical and cybersecurity enhancements and other security-related activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of a terrorist or other extremist attack. In Maine, the NSGP is administered by the Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA).
During the one-hour virtual meeting, we will cover the following key topics:

- An overview of the required documents, including the FY2024 NSGP Investment Justification Template and the Vulnerability/Risk Assessment
- Explanation of mission statement requirements and its significance in the application
