DR-4719-ME – May Day Storm
On July 6, 2023, President Joseph R. Biden Jr. granted a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Maine triggering the release of Federal funds to help communities recover from a Severe Storm and Flooding event that occurred April 30, 2023 – May 1, 2023, commonly referred to as the May Day Storm. Declared counties include Franklin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and Waldo.
The Applicant Briefing for DR-4719 was held July 21, 2023, at 10:00 am. The link to this briefing will be posted below. All eligible applicants wishing to apply for Public Assistance for this disaster must file a Request for Public Assistance via the FEMA Grants Portal by August 4, 2023. Additional resources and information will be posted below as they become available.

Declared counties include: Franklin, Knox, Oxford, Somerset, Waldo, and York Counties.

All eligible applicants wishing to apply for Public Assistance for this disaster must file a Request for Public Assistance via the FEMA Grants Portal by April 21, 2023.
