FY2026 FEMA NSGP Grant (CLOSED)
The Fiscal Year 2026 FEMA Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) has closed and is no longer accepting applications. This program provides funding support for physical security enhancements and other security-related activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of a terrorist attack. It is separate from the Maine NSGP.
Submission Deadline
- All applications were required to be received no later than July 16, 2026, at 11:59 EST.
- Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

FEMA Finalizing Fiscal 2025 Nonprofit Security Grant Program SubawardsUnfortunately, the Fiscal Year 2025 NSGP subawards were severely delayed by multiple funding lapses that impacted FEMA operations — totaling 120 days shut down this fiscal year. Now that funding has been restored, FEMA staff are diligently reviewing all submitted subapplications and expect to issue subawards soon. We sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of all applicants and stakeholders.
