The Commercial Fishing Safety Council will hold it's quarterly meeting on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 1pm-2pm at the Samoset Resort Golf Club in Rockland. Below and attached are the meeting agenda.

  • Approval of the Minutes of the Quarterly Meeting, December 17, 2025
  • General welcome to all in attendance during the Fishermen’s Forum

Update and discussion of safety issues related to ropeless fishing (aka on demand fishing)- Janine and Ann

Update on the recent discussions held by the Scallop Advisory Council pertaining to the proposed scallop apprentice program (Melissa Smith correspondence)

Update on electric boats and preparedness needed in harbors and on docks  to assure general and fire safety – TBA
