  • Troop F Weekly Report 09-26 to 10-02-22

    Brief Synopsis:       Sgt. Clark and Tr. Rider responded to an address in Mars Hill for a report of a man fighting with his brother and destroying his house.  After an investigation, the man was trespassed from the property.  Later that evening, the man returned to the address and began causing more problems.  He was arrested by Sgt. Clark for trespassing and for possession of methamphetamines.  The man was bailed from the Barracks and was transported back to Presque Isle.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Quint spent the day at the Houlton Armory, talking to high school students from three area schools about being a Maine State Trooper, the hiring process, and all the department has to offer.  The students asked a variety of insightful questions, and some had serious interest in becoming a Trooper.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Quint was conducting a traffic stop when a vehicle drove past him and then appeared to accelerate rapidly.  After clearing that stop, Cpl. Quint found the vehicle in Houlton, saw it was not registered and was operating with an amplified exhaust.  A traffic stop was conducted and after an investigation, it was found the registration to the vehicle was suspended for not paying tolls.  The driver admitted to knowing his registration was suspended.  He was issued a criminal summons for the violation and issued a warning for expired inspection, expired registration, and for operating with amplified exhaust.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Roy was invited to Ashland High School where he spoke to the senior class about becoming a Maine State Trooper, the hiring process, job benefits, and other aspects of the department.  Tr. Roy also gave the students a tour of his cruiser showing some of the equipment used daily while on patrol.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Rider responded to an address in Perham for a burglary.  During the course of his investigation, Tr. Rider was shown a picture of two men loading the suspected property.  Tr. Roy assisted Tr. Rider and went to the suspects home in Limestone and immediately observed some of the stolen property.  He confronted the two suspects and the first admitted to taking the tools from the home in Perham.  The second suspect stated it was his fault and he asked the first man to help him get the items.  A Forest Ranger assisted Tr. Roy with recovering all the stolen items and transporting them to Caribou PD.  The first suspect was issued a criminal summons for criminal conspiracy and the second suspect for receiving stolen property.  Tr. Rider later summonsed the homeowner where the property was being held for receiving stolen property.

    Brief Synopsis:       While working an unrelated incident in Perham, Tr. Rider was made aware of information from ATF regarding them looking for a man, that may be in Perham, and they have a warrant for him.  While driving through Perham, Tr. Rider observed the man in a private driveway and confronted him.  The man was cooperative and was arrested without incident.  Lt. Harris was also there and assisted with the arrest.  The man was transported to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton and picked up later by ATF Special Agents.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Kilcollins responded to Woodland for the report of someone trying to steal a vehicle. A female had called 911 reporting that two men were trying to steal her friend’s vehicle. When Cpl. Kilcollins arrived on scene the two men had already left, and the vehicle was still in the driveway. After a warrant check was conducted on the female caller, it was found that she had two active warrants and was on several sets of bail. One of the warrants was a no bail warrant for a bail violation. The female was placed under arrest and transported to the Aroostook County Jail without incident.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Levesque and K-9 Rocco completed their second week of K-9 drug detection school at MCJA.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Martin was traveling south bound on Route 1 in Caribou when he met a vehicle with no plate lights. Tr. Martin turned around; the vehicle then pulled into a driveway. The operator of the vehicle quickly exited the vehicle and started walking towards the house. Tr. Martin advised the operator to stop and walk towards him. The male operator did as Tr. Martin said. Tr. Martin ran the males license, and it came back that his license was suspended. Tr. Martin charged the male with Operating After Suspension and Violation of Conditional Release because the male was also on bail.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Martin was traveling north bound on Route 1A in Limestone when a vehicle met him , traveling at a high rate of speed. Tr. Martin turned around and pulled the vehicle over. Tr. Martin did a license check on the male driver. The male driver’s license came back as suspended because of an Administrative Operating Under the Influence charge. The male was charged with Operating After Suspension and Violation of Conditional Release because the male was also on bail.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Martin was traveling on the Parkhurst Siding Road in Presque Isle when he pulled a vehicle over for a traffic infraction. Tr. Martin ran a license check on the male operator to find his license was suspended. Tr. Martin charged the male with Operating After Suspension.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton was traveling to a complaint on Interstate 95 when he encountered a vehicle operating erratically.  Tr. Cotton stopped the vehicle on suspicion the operator was under the influence.  .  Tr. Cotton put the man through field sobriety which he failed.  Tr. Cotton transported the man to ACJ for an Intoxilyzer test with a test result under the legal limit.  The man was also on medications which combined with alcohol, can cause drowsiness.  The male was charged with driving to endanger and traffic violations.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Saucier received a call from a local business advising there was a male subject at the store that had been trespassed from the location.  The male subject was gone when Tr. Saucier arrived but was later found at his residence.  Tr. Saucier issued the Stacyville man a summons for Criminal Trespass.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Casavant responded to a Mars Hill residence after a male called to report he had been scammed into sending a wire transfer of $49,500.  Cpl. Casavant met with the victim who advised he received an email reference to an invoice for anti-virus software.  When the man called the number on the invoice, the person on the phone advised the victim to fill out a form for the $500 charge to be taken away.  Once the victim did, the suspect advised he had accidentally put $50,000.  Arrangements were made for the victim to wire $49,500 back to the company to make up the difference which he did.  The victim went back to his bank once he realized it was a scam and the bank flagged the transaction, and his accounts were frozen.  The investigation is ongoing.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton was monitoring traffic in Monticello when he stopped a vehicle for not having an inspection sticker as well as loud exhaust.  As a result of the stop, Tr. Cotton charged the Monticello woman with OAS.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton attended training at the Child Advocacy Center in Fort Fairfield.  The training was designed to give first responders an overview on proper questions to ask a juvenile in the preliminary stages of a sexual assault investigation in order to schedule the victim for a CAC interview.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton was traveling on the Ludlow Road in Houlton when he observed an operator driving suspiciously after seeing Tr. Cotton and noted the operator was not wearing a seatbelt and initiated a stop.  Tr. Cotton learned the out of state registration plates did not belong on that vehicle.  The operator recently moved to Maine and had gotten his Maine license earlier that day.  Tr. Cotton towed the vehicle and charged the operator for the registration violation.  Tr. Cotton issued the man a warning for the seatbelt violation.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Curtin assisted Fort Fairfield Police Department with a warrant arrest at a residence in Wade.  Fort Fairfield PD had been investigating a Tampering with Witness/Victim case in their town and a warrant had been issued for one of the suspects.  Tr. Curtin went with the PD and arrested the Wade woman without incident.  She was transported by Fort Fairfield PD to Presque Isle where she was able to make bail.

  • Troop G Weekly Report - 09/26/2022 - 10/02/2022

    On 09/27/2022, Cpl. Cropper stopped a vehicle traveling northbound in Portland after the operator reportedly fled from Saco Police Department Officers. The operator was suspected of operating under the influence. Tr. Wilcox conducted standardized field sobriety testing and placed Michael Katamba (29) of Lewiston under arrest for Operating Under the Influence. Katamba provided a breath sample and was subsequently summonsed.

    On 09/27/2022, Cpl. Cote stopped Juliette Levesque (24) of Minot on the ME Turnpike southbound in New Gloucester.  Her ME Driver’s License was found to be suspended.  She was charged with Operating after Suspension and Possession of a Suspended License.  Her vehicle was towed away.

    On 09/27/2022, Tr. Walp summonsed Edgar Garcia (38) of Portland for Operating after Suspension. Garcia produced a fake international driver’s license that was also confiscated.

    On 09/28/2022, Tr. Ellis stopped Thomas Forlini (36) of Rhode Island for speeding on the ME Turnpike southbound in Arundel. His license plates were found to be falsely attached. He was summonsed for the speed and registration violation. The vehicle was towed.

    On 09/28/2022 at approximately 2223 hours, Troopers Verhille, Bourdelais, Ellis, DeGroot, and Sergeant Casey all responded to a report of a dump truck rolled over in the northbound lane on the Maine Turnpike in Lewiston.  The driver was traveling north when he was distracted and crossed into the breakdown lane.  He swerved to avoid a disabled vehicle that was in the breakdown lane and overcorrected, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and rollover, spilling asphalt he was hauling across both lanes.  The vehicle came to rest on its side, blocking both lanes of travel.  Northbound traffic was closed for approximately 3 ½ hours while crew members worked on removing the vehicle and the asphalt from the roadway. The driver was transported to Central Maine Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

     

    On 09/29/2022, Cpl. Ricci Cote arrested Timothy Meeks (34) formerly of Memphis, TN on the ME Turnpike southbound in Auburn.  He had been walking and refused to exit upon being warned and ordered to do so.  He was charged with Criminal Trespassing, Refusal to Submit to Arrest (Force), and Refusal to Sign a Uniform Summons and Complaint.  After being medically cleared at a local hospital, he was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail.  Cpl. Cote was assisted by Tpr. Ryan Keller of Troop K.

    On 09/29/2022, Tr. Ellis stopped Ericka Leary (32) of Gray for an expired registration on the ME Turnpike northbound in Falmouth. She was found to not have a valid license. She was summonsed for an expired license and warned for the registration. The vehicle was towed.

    On 09/30/2022, Tr. Ellis observed a vehicle speeding 122/70 northbound on the ME Turnpike in Saco. Sgt. Casey clocked the vehicle speeding 110/50 and stopped it in Portland. Tommy Guerrero (25) of Lewiston was charged with criminal speeding.

    On 09/30/2022, Tr. Walp was following up on a traffic complaint. The complainant said if Troopers did not pull the vehicle over, they feared the driver would kill someone. Tr. Walp located the vehicle at MM 80 southbound where it was pulled into the breakdown lane. After further investigation, Tr. Walp arrested the male operator, Charles Driscoll (22) of Kittery and administered a breath test at the jail. Driscoll was booked into the Androscoggin County Jail and charged with OUI.

    On 09/30/2022, Tr. Foley stopped Erik Maas (56) on I-95 south in Wells for erratic operation. Maas displayed signs of intoxication and Tr. Foley placed Maas under arrest for OUI. Maas was transported to York PD where he blew over the legal limit and posted bail. Cpl. Physic assisted.

    On 10/01/2022, Cpl. Physic stopped Shayle Wormel in Saco for following too closely on I-95. Shayle showed signs of impairment and Cpl. Physic placed Shayle under arrest. Shayle took an intoxilyzer test and blew over the legal limit. 

    On 10/01/2022, Tr. Walp pulled Alexander Menezes (25) of Lewiston over for criminal speed. Upon further investigation, Menezes’ registration was past due over 150 days and the registration was suspended. Menezes was issued a summons and the vehicle was towed.

    On 10/02/2022, Tr. Foley responded to a rollover crash on I-95 south in Portland. The operator, Jens Jensen-Reinke (30) suffered minor injuries. Jensen-Reinke displayed signs of intoxication. Tr. Foley placed Jensen-Reinke under arrest for OUI. Jensen-Reinke consented to a blood draw and results are pending.

    On 10/02/2022, Tr. Anstett stopped Jessica Mercer (37) of West Paris for Criminal Speed on the Turnpike in Cumberland. Mercer was issued a summons.

    On 10/02/2022, Tr. Anstett stopped a 17-year-old male of Hanover, MA for Criminal Speed in a construction zone on the Turnpike in Portland. The male was issued a summons for speed and speed in a construction zone.

    On 10/02/2022, Tr. Anstett assisted with a family fight in the area of mile 25 northbound on the Turnpike. Tr. Anstett located the victim in Kennebunk. The investigation is ongoing.

  • AMBER Alert

     

    The AMBER Alert has been cancelled. The children are safe and the mother is in custody in Massachusetts. Additional information will be released by the Saco Police Department.

  • MSP investigates two deaths in Penobscot County

    On Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at approximately 9:00 am, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence at 476 Swetts Pond Road in Orrington. The homeowners, Russell and Lois Swanson, both 89-years-old were found deceased. The husband and wife were discovered by a family member.   
    The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit and Evidence Response Team were called to help investigate the circumstances of the deaths. That investigation continues at this time.
    There is no known risk to the public.
     

  • Silver Alert: Davis Madore

    Davis MadoreUPDATE: Mr Madore has been located safely. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    The Brewer Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for 72-year-old Davis Madore. Mr. Madore is described as a white male, 5’10”, with gray hair and a long gray beard, and blue eyes. Mr. Madore was staying at the Vacationland Inn in Brewer and was last seen at 5 p.m. on Oct. 6. When the caller went to check on him at 10 a.m. he was not in his room but had left all of his belongings in his room, including his jacket and shoes. He may be wearing a faded blue shirt and blue jeans. Mr. Madore has cognitive issues and may be in a confused state an unable to relay his name. If anyone comes in contact, please call 911 or 207-945-4636.

  • Silver Alert: Michael Holmes

    Michael HolmesThe Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for 71-year old Michael Holmes of Vienna. Mr. Holmes was last seen on foot leaving a residence on Tower Road in Vienna Thursday , October 6, 2022 with plans to go to Winthrop. He has not been seen by family since. Mr. Holmes who suffers from cognitive issues is a white male, 6’00”, 225 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. Mr. Holmes does not have his cell phone on him and it is unknown what he was last wearing.   • Troop F Weekly Report 10-03 to 10-09-22

    Brief Synopsis:       A U.S. Border Patrol Agent was driving through Amity and observed two men stopped at a house that had collapsed over time and one was discharging a pistol at the ruble.  The Agent called for a Trooper to respond to assist him.  Cpl. Quint arrived and spoke with both men, one from southern Maine and one from New York.  The men stated they travel and photograph dilapidated homes and while looking at this particular property decided to fire a 9mm pistol at it.  The firearm owner stated his friend had never fired a weapon.  The men were warned for their unsafe behavior and spoken to regarding trespassing.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Roy was conducting traffic enforcement in Van Buren.  He observed a vehicle with the passenger not being properly secured in a seatbelt and conducted a traffic stop.  Tr. Roy investigated and the passenger provided him a false name.  Further investigation determined who the woman was and there were warrants for her arrest.  She was arrested but was able to post bail.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Barnard responded to Stonington for a Bomb call. Members of the Fire Marshal’s Office were investigating and found some dynamite. Tr. Barnard and other members of the Bomb Team responded to the call. They took possession of the dynamite and properly disposed of it.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Martin received a traffic complaint in Eagle Lake. A male caller advised that there was a male driving around Eagle Lake without a driver’s license. The male caller advised the male did not have a license and was traveling at a high rate of speed. Tr. Martin located the male driving in Eagle Lake. Tr. Martin ran a license check on the male and it came back that he did have an active license. However, when Tr. Martin ran the license check it came back that the male had one active warrant. Tr. Martin arrested the male on the warrant. The male was taken to a bail commissioner where he was able to make bail.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton was traveling through Houlton when he observed a vehicle with an expired registration.  Tr. Cotton recognized the male operator and believed him to be suspended.  Houlton RCC confirmed the Smyrna man had a suspended license and Tr. Cotton initiated a stop.  Tr. Cotton charged the man with OAS and had him make arrangements for someone to get the vehicle.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Sylvia responded to an apartment in Monticello after a woman called to report she had been assaulted by another woman at the apartment.  Tr. Sylvia met with both parties and learned that there had been a verbal altercation outside at the apartment complexAt one point, one of the females punched the other causing minor injury.  The incident    was not domestic in nature and the victim declined to press charges.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Casavant took a burglary report from a resident in Saint John who reported his barn had been broken into sometime in the last week.  The man reported various items stolen in the burglary.  The investigation is ongoing.

    Brief Synopsis:       Cpl. Casavant was approached by a man in Van Buren advised someone had broken into a vacant residence a few nights prior.  The house was vacant and being used to store various items.  The victim advised he believed a set of snow tires seemed to be the only thing missing.  The investigation is ongoing.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton received information that there was a male subject at a residence in Littleton that had an active warrant.  When Tr. Cotton arrived, he was advised the man was in the process of moving to Presque Isle and the person at the home would notify Tr. Cotton when he returned.  A short time later, Tr. Cotton was advised the Littleton man was back.  Tr. Cotton returned to the residence and took the man into custody without incident.  Tr. Cotton transported him to the Troop F Barracks where he was able to post bail.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Saucier took a call direct from a business owner in Patten advising of a shoplifting complaint.  The owner was able to identify the suspect as a Crystal man.  Tr. Saucier met with the suspect who admitted to taking the allergy medication because he needed it but could not afford it.  Tr. Saucier believed there were some mental health issues with the man.  Tr. Saucier spoke with the business owner and they came to an agreement that the suspect would come to the store and work things out in regard to the theft.

    Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton stopped a vehicle in Houlton for a traffic violation and learned the operator’s license was under suspension.  Tr. Cotton charged the Haynesville woman with OAS and arrangements were made for the vehicle.

  • Troop G Weekly Report - 10/03/2022 - 10/09/2022

    On 10/02/2022, the Augusta Regional Communications Center received a report of an OUI/rolling domestic that was northbound from mile marker 25 in Kennebunk. The complainants, who were the parents of the victim, were trying to follow the vehicle. The vehicle departed at Exit 32. Cpl. Cropper located the vehicle on Rt. 35 in Lyman after the male operator forced the victim out of the vehicle on Alewive Rd in Kennebunk and then fled. Cpl. Cropper was assisted by Troop A and Tpr. Anstett, Troop G. The investigation was turned over to Tpr. Walp and Cpl. Sucy. The male was charged with OUI and Aggravated Domestic Violence Assault.

    On 10/03/2022, Cpl. Ricci Cote was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of mile 49 southbound in Portland.  While parked in the break down lane, his cruiser was struck by a passing empty tractor trailer unit.  The sideswipe ripped off Cpl. Cote’s side mirror and damaged his driver’s door and front tire.  There were no injuries.  The crash was investigated by Sgt. Angela Porter.  The operator of the tractor trailer unit was cited for Failure to Maintain Control of Motor Vehicle. 

    On 10/03/2022, Tr. Keim arrested Brittany Eastup (30) of Windham for Operating Under the Influence.  She was reportedly all over the road and driving erratically.  After testing above the legal limit, Eastup was also charged with Violation of Conditions of Release.

    On 10/08/2022, Tr. Keim arrested Drew Mollica (34) of Gray.  Mollica was involved in a crash in Cumberland, where he was reportedly driving over 100 mph, when he lost control of his vehicle and ran into the center guardrail.  After running into the guardrail, he bounced off and struck a pickup that was going by.  Mollica was charged with Operating Under the Influence and Driving to Endanger.

    On Sept. 27, 2022, Sgt. Bustard summonsed Michael Michaud 33 YOA of Greenbush for OAS as the result of a traffic stop in Bangor.

    On Sept. 29, 2022, Sgt. Bustard summonsed Megan Cookson (35) of Levant for Operating After Suspension as the result of a traffic stop in Kenduskeag.  

    On Sept. 28, 2022, Cpl. Dube conducted a traffic stop on I95 in Bangor on a black pickup truck for traveling 96 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone.  The operator of the vehicle was identified as Steven Beardsley, 22 YOA of Millinocket.  Beardsley was issued a summons for criminal speed.

    On Sept. 28, 2022, Cpl. Dube received a report of a theft of a push lawnmower in Enfield.  An Enfield man called to report that he had arrived home and a mower that he had placed in his yard for sale was gone.  The matter remains under investigation.     On Sept. 29, 2022, Tr. Peterson stopped a truck in Mattawamkeag for not having a license plate. The operator, Anthony Hannah (41), had a suspended license out of Connecticut. Tr. Peterson charged Hannah with Operating without a Driver’s License.

    On Sept. 23, 2022, Tr. Bragan received a report from Versant Power of a Justin Masters stealing power from their meter. Tr. Bragan was advised that Justin’s power was shut off and he broke the lock to the meter and reestablished power which he was not paying for. Tr. Bragan located Justin in the Penobscot County Jail where he conducted an interview. Justin admitted to breaking into the meter and reconnecting the power. Justin was charged with criminal mischief and theft of services. 

    On Sept. 22, 2022, Tr. Gould and Tr. Ramp attended a K9 seminar at the new prison facility in Windham, hosted by the Maine Department of Corrections.  K9 handlers from several PD’s, Sheriffs Offices’, as well as handlers from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and New Hampshire attended.

    On Sept. 27, 2022, At approximately 0700 hours, Tr. Plaisted was called out for the report of a family fight at a residence in Corinth.  As a result of the investigation John Swan, 50, was arrested for DV Assault and transported to PCJ in Bangor where no bail was awarded. 

    On Sept. 25, 2022, at approximately 2159 hours, after an investigation, Tpr. Pina arrested Joshua Qualls, 36, of Howland, for domestic violence assault.

    On Oct. 1, 2022, Tr. Olmstead stopped a vehicle operated by Kyle Manzo, 25 of Bangor, for 101 MPH in a 70 MPH zone on I-95 in Carmel. Kyle’s Maine driver’s license was suspended. Kyle was summonsed for Criminal Speed and OAS.

    On Sept. 26, 2022, Tr. Steven Mahon responded to a report of a burglary in Hancock where a residence was broken into and vandalized.  Tr. Josh Lander and Tr. Dave Yankowsky assisted with the investigation.  Evidence was collected and investigation continues.

    On Sept. 29, 2022, Sgt. Jeffrey Ingemi summonsed Zachary Beal, 19 of Milbridge, for possession of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop in Steuben.

    On Sept. 30, 2022, Cpl. Jeffrey Taylor assisted Hancock SO by responding to an assault complaint in Lamoine Conflicting information was received by both parties and the case will go to the DA for review.  

    On Oct. 1, 2022, Tr. Einar Mattson responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 3, Trenton. Brenda Richardson (68) Bar Harbor was arrested for OUI alcohol.

    On Sept. 27, 2022, Tr. Rose investigated a PI crash on Route 1 in Topsfield. Merle Foster (63) of Linneus was driving south on Route 1. Due to heavy fog, he went off the roadway right and got sucked into the ditch. The fully loaded semi-truck and trailer went airborne over a driveway and struck a telephone pole before coming to a stop. Merle suffered minor injuries from the crash. He was transported to the hospital by the Princeton Fire Department. The roadway was partially shut down until MDOT could assist with cleaning up the debris from the crash. Leonard’s Heavy Rescue responded and removed the truck from the ditch. 

  • Northern Field Troop Weekly Report for Oct. 2 through Oct. 8

    On Oct. 10, 2022, At approximately 0836 hours, Tr. Pina conducted a traffic stop on a black GMC Envoy on Union Street in Bangor, which he knew was being operated by Kelly Slobuszewski, 40, of Lagrange. Before stopping the vehicle, Tr. Pina knew that Kelly had a suspended driver's license and an active warrant for her arrest from previous contacts. As a result of the traffic stop, Tr. Pina placed Kelly under arrest for her warrant and operating after suspension and transported her to Penobscot County Jail.

    On Oct. 5, 2022, Cpl. Dube and Sgt. Endre conducted a traffic stop on I95 in Etna for an inspection sticker violation.  The operator was identified as Michael Tarr, 38 YOA.  Tarr’s license was suspended for failing to appear.  Tarr was issued a summons for OAS.  
                  
    On Oct. 2, 2022, Tr. Tlumac responded to 16 Pomroy Lane in Levant for the report of an unwanted person. The complainant stated Davis Madore (73) has been living with her for almost two years. Tr. Tlumac found Davis had two warrants for his arrest and no money to bail. Davis was arrested and transported to the Penobscot County Jail.

    On Oct. 07, 2022, Tr. Tlumac and SGT Meserve responded to 300 Stetson Road West, in Levant for the report of a domestic dispute. Ultimately Lisa Milliken (49) was arrested and transported to the Penobscot County Jail for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ASSAULT. 

    On Oct. 5, 2022, Tr. Miles Carpenter responded to a local store in Sullivan where it was reported that Wayne Kane, 53 of Sullivan, had stolen a couple of cans of alcohol from the store.  pr. Carpenter located Kane and summonsed him for theft.  Kane was also served a trespass notice not to return to the Dollar General in Sullivan.

    On Oct. 6, 2022, Tr. Keith York and Cpl. Jeff Taylor responded to a crash in Topsfield where the operator, Shane Kerrigan, 26 of Charlotte, was summonsed for operating after suspension and violation of conditional release. 

    On Oct. 7, 2022, Tr. Keith York responded to a complaint in Charlotte of a truck passing a stopped school bus on the right-hand shoulder and almost hitting a child.  As a result of the investigation Carlton Downes, 42 of Edmunds, was summonsed for passing a stopped school bus.


    On Oct. 8, 2022, Tr. Peterson was able to return stolen property to the Shearer’s at a residence on the Asgard Rd in Lakeville. Tr. Kurth had located the stolen items on 10/7/2022 and advised Tr. Peterson where they were. The items included power tools, a Polaris side by side, grow lights, an air compressor, and other misc. items.

    On Oct. 4, 2022, Tr. Ramp arrested Jessica Laliberte, 46 of Corinth at her residence.  Laliberte was transported to the Penobscot County jail and booked on the warrant. 

    On Oct. 3, 2022, at approximately 0440 hours, a complainant called 911 to report that a male subject entered her house on Depot St. in Mattawamkeag and refused to leave the property. The male subject, man told Tr. Kurth he ran out of gas, had no money, his phone died, and he was cold. Ken’s Auto Service towed the vehicle and took him back to Medway.

    On Oct. 9, 2022, Cpl. Hashey was called out for a wrong way driver at approximately 0230 hours. It was reported that a vehicle was traveling northbound in the southbound lane from mile marker 182 in Hampden. Cpl. Hashey met the vehicle in the area of mile marker 191 in Orono and the vehicle stopped in the passing lane. The 69-year-old driver was in a confused state. Orono Ambulance responded to the scene and found that the subject was having a diabetic emergency. He was transported to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. 

    On Oct. 6, 2022, Tr. Matthew Rose conducted a traffic stop on Rt. 1 in Princeton for a traffic infraction. As a result of the traffic stop Lewey Harnois (37) of Grand Lake Stream, was issued a summons for failing to register a motor vehicle. 

    On Oct. 6, 2022, as a result of a bail check conducted in Dedham, Tr. Travis Chapman issued Aaron Gallegos (31) of Dedham, a summons for numerous bail violations. 

    On Oct. 8, 2022, Tr. Einar Mattson responded to an auto accident at Buttercup Ln and Old County Rd, Hancock. The operator of the vehicle, , Henry Whitmore 64 of Hancock was arrested for OUI and conditional release violation.
