NOTICE FOR ALL BLACK POWDER OR MUZZLE LOADING FIREARMS REQUESTS
The Maine State Police is no longer processing black powder or muzzle loading firearms permits.
Effective November 1, 2017, the Maine Warden Service will be accepting and processing these applications. The application forms are available on the Maine Warden Services website.
All questions should be directed to the Maine Warden Service at 287-5240 and all forms forwarded to the address below:
