Traffic Stop in Farmingdale Leads to Multiple Arrests and Drug Trafficking Charges

On April 6, 2025, Troopers from the Maine State Police Central Field Troop conducted a traffic stop on an SUV for a motor vehicle violation in Farmingdale. During the stop, Troopers developed probable cause to believe the operator, 32-year-old Samantha Robinson of Augusta was operating under the influence of alcohol. Robinson was subsequently arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence.

The front seat passenger, 61-year-old Sheena Wright of Augusta, was taken into custody on an active Failure to Appear misdemeanor arrest warrant related to a theft charge.

Further investigation revealed that a rear seat passenger, 19-year-old Nevaeh Harris of New York City, initially provided Troopers with a false name. Harris was found to be in possession of approximately 44.9 grams of cocaine base (commonly referred to as “crack”) and 8.8 grams of fentanyl.

Harris was arrested and charged with two counts of Unlawful Trafficking of Cocaine Base, one count of Aggravated Trafficking of Fentanyl, and one count of Falsifying Physical Evidence. Wright and Harris were transported to the Kennebec County Jail.
