Continued Repairs on I-95 Northbound in Fairfield

Fairfield ? Crews will be back in the northbound travel lane on I-95 over the Route 201 bridge in Fairfield to further repair several large potholes from the recent heavy rains.

Maine State Troopers will assist with a rolling roadblock from Waterville Exit 130 to Fairfield Exit 133 northbound beginning at 9:00 p.m. After each rolling roadblock, the Troopers will allow traffic to clear before another is initiated.

Joint Repair Work Begins Near Topsham Bypass

Topsham ? On Monday evening, November 23rd, crews will perform joint repair work on the bridge close to the Topsham bypass on Route 196 in Topsham beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling southbound on Route 196 will be detoured to the Route 1 ramp to Route 24 on Main Street in Brunswick, then cross the bridge over Route 1 and travel back onto the ramp to Route 1 northbound. The total detour route is approximately one mile.

All work is anticipated to be completed before the morning commute on Tuesday, November 24th.

Repairs to Continue on I-95 Northbound in Fairfield

Fairfield ? On Tuesday, November 24th, crews will be back on I-95 northbound in Fairfield for a more permanent repair of potholes that have formed due to recent heavy rains.

Between 9:00 a.m. and noon, Maine State Police will assist with rolling roadblocks between mile markers 127 to 133 northbound in Fairfield. Each rolling roadblock will slow traffic for approximately 15 to 20 minutes as crews make the necessary repairs to the pavement in the northbound lane. Motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly.

Road Repairs on I-95 in Fairfield Rescheduled to Wednesday

Fairfield ? Due to safety concerns with the volume of traffic, the rolling roadblocks to repair potholes on I-95 northbound in Fairfield has been rescheduled from Tuesday (today) mid-day to Wednesday, November 25th from 4:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Maine State Police will assist with rolling roadblocks between mile markers 127 to 133 northbound in Fairfield. Each rolling roadblock will slow traffic for approximately 15 to 20 minutes as crews make the necessary repairs to the pavement in the northbound lane. Motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly.

Union Street Bridge Project Schedule for the Week of December 7, 2015

Bangor ? Crews will be working on Interstate 95 during the overnight hours on the Union Street Bridge project in Bangor. This work involves closing one lane of traffic at a time on the interstate northbound and/or southbound to allow for construction to take place safely between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

The current closure schedule for the week of 12/7/2015 is as follows:

Monday, December 7th: The northbound travel lane will be closed.

Tuesday, December 8th: The southbound passing lane and the northbound passing lane will be closed.

Inspection to Begin on the Casco Bay Bridge

Portland ? Crews will be performing an in-depth inspection of the Casco Bay Bridge, which spans the Fore River connecting Portland and South Portland, beginning on Tuesday, January 12th.

As part of the federally mandated inspection program, the Casco Bay Bridge will undergo an inspection on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday that may include up to three additional openings lasting no longer than five minutes per opening per day. These additional openings will occur between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. only. There will be no impact to marine traffic.
