5 day training for supervisors-to-be on the local public works level so they can improve their local positions as they can climb their career ladder.

Fall meeting ME Chapter APWA -- October 8 , MMA Convention in Augusta
Augusta Civic Center
As part of the entire Convention, the Chapter will convene with various speakers and topis of interest

Snow & Ice control - various locations around the state
How towns can modernize their operations by understanding how pavement temps, weather conditions, and proper plowing and material application rates can save money and improve traveling conditions and minimize environmental impacts

Drainage, Drainage, Drainage (PDF) - various locations around the state
How municipal personnel can fully understand the importance of proper road drainage including proper culvert rehabilitation and design and installation, with an eye on environmental issues
