Park Hours

Open 7 days a week, including holidays!

We’re open daily from mid-April through November 11th. Last entry is 1.5 hours before the park closes. Please check the current closing time before your visit. Please note: we may close during severe weather.

April 15 – October 14

  • Park opens at 9:30am
  • Gate closes at 4:30pm, but you’re welcome to stay inside the park until 6pm.

October 15 – November 11

  • Park opens at 9:30am
  • Gate closes at 3:30pm, but you’re welcome to stay inside the park until 5pm.

Private Shelters: Your Spot in the Park

Need a shady spot to perch? Shelter availability is limited. Submit a Shelter Request Form to check availability and reserve a shelter for your visit.

Community Passes

Organizations can purchase an annual community passbook ($350) that lets community members visit the park at a discounted rate. The turtles asked that we note the following guidelines: 

  • Community passes can only be used by individuals or families, they cannot be used by groups 
  • Each person (3+ years) using a community pass will be charged a $5.00 admission fee when they present a community pass at the gatehouse 
  • Turtles are very cool and worthy of respect
  • Community passes can be used anytime the park is open to the public – from mid-April to November 11
