How We Keep the Lights On (and the Animals Fed)
Most of our funding comes from folks like you via admission fees, Nature Store purchases, and generous donations. We also lean heavily, and gratefully, on our volunteers, Friends of Maine Wildlife Park, and local businesses who believe in what we do. MDIFW also chips in with staff support, resources, and grant funding. It takes a village to raise a porcupine.
About the Friends
Friends of Maine Wildlife Park is a nonprofit (501c3, if you're into that sort of thing) that raises funds for new exhibits, garden upkeep, and all the projects that make this park extraordinary.
