Park Rules

Before you head out to meet the locals, we've got a handful of guidelines that keep tails wagging, wings flapping, and everyone heading home with great memories. Give them a gander before you come see our gander.

Respect & Protect

  • Working service dogs are the only pets allowed in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please leave any other pets at home, including emotional support animals.

Stay Safe

  • Barriers help keep you a safe distance from the animals. Please don’t climb, cross, or reach through them.
  • Keep the wildlife healthy by not feeding them.
  • Shirts and shoes are a must.
  • No weapons or fireworks.

Respect Other Visitors

  • No smoking (vapes and e-cigs), alcohol, or illicit drugs.
  • Please leave bicycles, skateboards, and wheeled or motorized transportation at home. Strollers, wagons, wheelchair, and mobility devices welcome.
  • Remote-controlled devices, including drones, are not allowed in the Park.

Protect the Park

  • Fires are only for designated grills and need to be attended at all times.
  • Please celebrate without balloons or confetti to help keep the park clean.
  • No solicitation or distributing products or materials.
  • Commercial filming or photography requires approval from park staff.

Keep Wild Animals Wild

We know the baby animals are cute, but they grow up with instincts that make them unsafe pets. It’s illegal to keep wild animals without a special permit. If you care, leave them there.
