In September, crews continued wingwall and breast-wall construction at the Conant Road and Easton Road bridges, including reinforcing steel installation, formwork, and concrete placements. At the Henderson Road Bridge, crews completed footing concrete placements and began mobilizing to Abutment 1. Crews also continued construction of the arch wingwalls and footings at the Clark Brook Bypass Arch Bridge.
Along the bypass corridor, crews continued excavation and embankment work, installed and partially backfilled the Merit Brook large box culvert, and installed reinforced-concrete drainage pipe at various locations. Work also included continued ledge removal and the start of post installation for 8-foot wildlife fencing.

August 2026
In August, crews continued construction at all four bridge sites. At the Conant Road Bridge, crews completed concrete placements for portions of the Abutment 1 stem wall and wingwall and advanced breast-wall construction at Abutment 2. At the Henderson Road Bridge, crews placed mud slabs and completed reinforcing steel installation for footings at both abutments. Work at the Easton Road Bridge included formwork and reinforcing steel installation for breast walls at both abutments. At the Clark Brook Bypass Arch Bridge, crews completed reinforcing steel installation and concrete placements for the arch footings, then advanced to mud-mat placement and preparation for the downstream wingwall footings.

July 2026
In July, crews advanced construction at the Conant Road and Easton Road bridges and began work at the Clark Brook Bypass Arch and Henderson Road bridges. At the Conant Road Bridge, crews completed reinforcing steel installation, formwork, and concrete placement for the Abutment 1 breast wall and continued work at Abutment 2, including footing backfill. At the Easton Road Bridge, crews prepared and constructed abutment footings, placed concrete for the Abutment 2 footing, and began reinforcing steel installation for the Abutment 2 breast wall.
At the Clark Brook Bypass Arch Bridge, crews excavated and removed bedrock to reach design grade, then began constructing the culvert foundation system. Work at the Henderson Road Bridge began late in the month with excavation for the Abutment 2 footing.

In June, crews advanced construction at the Conant Road Bridge from foundation work to structural concrete preparation. Crews placed concrete for the Abutment 1 footing, installed formwork at Abutment 2, and continued reinforcing steel installation for the Abutment 1 breast wall and Abutment 2 footings.
Work also began at the Easton Road Bridge, where crews excavated for bridge footings and placed foundation stone at both abutments in preparation for footing construction.

May 2026
In May, crews began Phase 2 bridge construction for the Presque Isle Bypass project, focusing on the Conant Road Bridge. Work began with excavation for Abutment 1 and progressed to excavation at Abutment 2. By the end of the month, crews completed reinforcing steel installation for the Abutment 1 footing and placed seal concrete at Abutment 2.
