Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) — Read the Act (PDF)
The purpose of this federal act is to develop more fully the academic knowledge and technical and employability skills of secondary and postsecondary students who elect to enroll in career and technical education programs and programs of study.
The State of Maine is required to have a Perkins V State Plan outlining how federal CTE funds will be used.
