Funding and Fiscal Accountability

The Maine DOE- Office of Special Services is required to provide oversight in the distribution and use of IDEA funds at the state and local level. The state system of general supervision includes mechanisms to provide oversight in the distribution and use of IDEA funds at the state and local level.
