The ability to navigate world events, see underlying ideas and make deep connections is vital to our learners who are bombarded with information from various news and social platforms. Conceptual understandings and visible learning strategies allow students to face various sources of information and situations with cognitive flexibility. Deep conceptual learning allows the students to apply their learning to solve complex and rich tasks.
