TITLE CORRECTION: School Health-Related Services, Kickoff Meeting Presented Materials and Survey

On May 27, 2026, The Office of MaineCare Services with our vendor Milliman kicked off a rate determination process with interested parties for School Health-Related Services. At this meeting, we introduced the project team, reviewed project goals, work plans, an initial timeline, and a survey.

The presented materials (PDF) and meeting recording are available online on our Rate System Reform webpage

Provider Survey

The downloadable survey, developed by Milliman with feedback from the Department, seeks to obtain information from school administrative staff and providers that deliver healthcare services in schools. This includes services delivered by school psychologists, school nurses, and a new potential service for Early Development Support Services (EDSS). Program costs, service utilization and other data will be key in the development of recommendations related to reimbursement rates and a rate model.

We encourage you to review the recording of the kickoff meeting which provides an overview of the survey. Please complete the survey by June 19, 2026.

If you have questions about the survey, please contact our vendor via email: MaineCare_rate_determination@milliman.com

For those who were unable to attend on May 27, 2026, we are holding a second kickoff meeting:
