As previously noticed on June 5, 2025, MaineCare is increasing reimbursement rates through a COLA for certain services that were originally scheduled for January 1, 2025.
We implemented the rates for the following sections of policy effective July 1, 2025, as planned:
2 |
Adult Family Care Services |
12 |
Consumer Directed Attendant Services |
13 |
Targeted Case Management Services |
17 |
Community Support Services |

26 |

28 |
Rehabilitative and Community Support Services for Children with Cognitive Impairments and Functional Limitations |
96 |
Private Duty Nursing and Personal Care Services |
The implementation of the newly effective rates has been temporarily delayed for the following sections of policy. The Department requires additional time to make these updates, and we anticipate implementation this month.
18 |
HCBS for Adults with Brain Injury |
20 |
HCBS for Adults with Other Related Conditions |
21 |
HCBS for Members with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder |
29 |
Support Services for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder |
65 |
Behavioral Health Services |
97C* |
Private Non-Medical Institutions, Appendix C, Residential Care Facilities (RCFs)* *This COLA is specific only to a portion of the RCF rate- see our June 5, 2025, notice for more information. |
We will send a notice when the new rates are implemented for the sections of policy experiencing a delay. Providers will be responsible for adjusting all affected claims for dates of service July 1, 2025, through the implementation date.
