Rate Determination Initiation Notice for Coordinated Specialty Care

The Department initiated a Rate Determination Process* for Coordinated Specialty Care services. This is a new service with the section of the MaineCare Benefits Manual to be determined.

Pursuant to P.L. 2021, Ch. 398, Part A, the Department will develop a coordinated specialty care model, to treat MaineCare members for a first episode of psychosis. Rate amounts and reimbursement models will be determined in accordance with Maine statute. 

There will be opportunities throughout the Rate Determination process for interested parties and members of the public to provide feedback and comments.
