MaineCare Comprehensive Benchmarking Report Initiation Notice

The Department initiated a comprehensive rate benchmarking report, as required by MRS Title 22 §3173-J. Rate reform law requires that, every four years, the Department compare MaineCare rates to the rates paid by the following:

  • Medicare
  • At least five comparison Medicaid states
  • Any appropriate Maine commercial payers

Interested parties will have the opportunity for public review and comment. The final report will be available on the MaineCare Rate System Reform webpage.
