Final Rate Determination Schedule for Calendar Year 2026 (CY26) and Comment Summary

The Final MaineCare Rate Determination Schedule for CY26 is available on the Rate System Reform webpage. A summary of written comments and a letter from Michelle Probert, Director of the Office of MaineCare Services, are also available.

In October 2025, the Department began the annual process* of establishing a Rate Determination Schedule for CY26. In alignment with statute, the process includes a public presentation and consultation with the Technical Advisory Panel (TAP), followed by a presentation to the Rate System Sub-Committee of the MaineCare Advisory Committee (MAC) and the opportunity for public comment and consultation with all members of the MAC.

The Office of MaineCare Services reviews and revises the MaineCare Rate Determination Schedule annually, as required by law. Stay up to date on rate determination work, through MaineCare’s Rate System Reform webpage.
