Attention Section 90, Physician and Primary Care Provider Services: Calendar Year 2024 (CY24) Medicare Standardization Rates Implemented, CR 122982 & 122980

In follow up to our January 19, 2024, Medicare Standardization notice, MaineCare has updated Section 90, Physician and Primary Care Provider rates effective January 1, 2024.

Physician rates were implemented for billing on March 6, 2024, and are available for viewing on the Rate Setting page of the Health PAS Online Portal.

• The Department will adjust claims that were submitted at or above the new rates for dates of service January 1, 2024 through March 5, 2024, and no provider action is needed.  

Primary Care Provider rates were implemented on February 28, 2024, and are available for viewing on the Rate Setting page of the Health PAS Online Portal.

• The Department will adjust claims that were submitted at or above the new rates for dates of service January 1, 2024 through February 27, 2024, and no provider action is needed.
