Attention Providers of Section 45 Hospital Services: Draft Rate Model Presented Materials

As previously shared in our June 2023 bulletin, the Department has initiated a rate determination process for Hospital Services in accordance with Title 22, §3173-J.

On December 11, 2023, the Department with its vendor held a virtual public forum for interested stakeholders. The Department presented an overview of the current reimbursement methodology for Inpatient Acute Care and Rehabilitative Hospital Services, to include existing challenges and concerns. Draft reimbursement methodology relevant to those services with rationale and relevant assumptions was also provided.
