As noticed earlier today, this e-message contains additional information specific to services provided under Section 97C.
In alignment with P.L. 2025, Ch. 388, (Part GGG), MaineCare is adjusting the RCF direct care rates to reflect a 1.0% COLA retroactively, effective July 1, 2025.
MaineCare is preparing to increase reimbursement rates through a 1.0% COLA for certain services that are regularly scheduled to receive them in July. This COLA was recently appropriated by the Legislature through a budget amendment (with P.L. 2025, Ch. 388, Part GGG).
Funding for these COLAs will be made available to the Department pending a 90-day waiting period that began with the adjournment of Legislature on June 25, 2025.
These new rates will be funded retroactively to July 1, 2025, and will reflect a 1.0% COLA.
As previously noticed on June 5, 2025, MaineCare is increasing reimbursement rates through a COLA for certain services that were originally scheduled for January 1, 2025.
On July 15, 2025, the Department will present revisions to the previously proposed community-based Mobile Crisis Intervention Response service rates and model.
