A Different Kind of Law Enforcement Career
Maine Game Wardens protect the people, places, and outdoor traditions that make Maine unique. As certified law enforcement officers, wardens serve communities across the state while working in Maine's woods, waters, fields, trails, and backcountry. This is a career for people who value public service, sound judgment, independence, and time spent outdoors. Whether you have experience in law enforcement, the military, emergency response, outdoor recreation, natural resources, or another field-based profession, your skills may help prepare you for a meaningful career protecting Maine's natural resources and serving the people who enjoy them.
