Updated Overnight Restrictions on I-295 in Falmouth

FALMOUTH - The Maine Department of Transportation is continuing to work on the Lunt Road Bridge in Falmouth. The bridge carries Lunt Road over I-295. During the weeks of August 11th and 19th, Lunt Road will be closed to traffic between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. beginning Sunday night and ending Friday morning. Drivers should follow marked detour routes. During the week of August 11th, I-295 will be restricted to one lane northbound and one lane southbound from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. beginning Sunday night and ending Friday morning. During the week of August 19th, I-295 will be restricted to one lane northbound and one lane southbound from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. beginning Sunday night and ending Friday morning. No more full closures of I-295 are required at this time.
