Trafton Road Reconstruction in Waterville

WATERVILLE - The Maine Department of Transportation will be rebuilding Trafton Road in Waterville. Construction is scheduled to begin on May 18th and end in early July. We are rebuilding this road so it can better handle traffic from the new interstate exit. Our work involves other improvements like tree clearing to help increase visibility. The project area begins at the interstate exit ramps and continues east for 1.25 miles to the intersection of Route 104. Drivers should expect a single-lane traffic pattern, controlled by flaggers. The contractor on this project is McGee Construction of West Gardiner.
