Southbound Closure of I-95 in Pittsfield on Wednesday

PITTSFIELD - The Maine Department of Transportation will be closing the southbound side of I-95 near Mile Marker 152 in Pittsfield from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd. During this time, crews will work to remove a tractor trailer truck that rolled over on the evening of Monday, March 31st. Southbound traffic should detour using Exit 157 in Newport and utilize Route 100, and Somerset Avenue to Exit 150 in Pittsfield where drivers can reenter I-95. Detour routes will be signed, and digital message boards will be active. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask that motorists drive safely through detours and work zones.
