Overnight Ramp Closure in Bath

BATH - The Maine Department of Transportation will be closing the Congress Avenue off-ramp on the southbound side of U.S. Route 1 in Bath on the night of Sunday, September 15th to accommodate overnight paving work. The off-ramp may be closed after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and will be open by 6:00 a.m. on Monday. We don't expect to have the ramp closed during the entire time frame. A detour route will be marked. Northeast Asphalt Paving of Wilton is the contractor on this job. This off-ramp work is part of the U.S. Route 1 paving work through Brunswick, West Bath, Bath, and Woolwich. The work started earlier this year and is expected to be finished by August 2020.
