Monmouth/Winthrop Culvert Replacements

Monmouth ? Beginning today, September 24, crews will be replacing a culvert on Route 135 in Monmouth. The work area is located approximately eight miles west of the Route 201/125 intersection. This four day event necessitates the closure of the Route 135/202 Winthrop intersection. Traffic will be detoured for approximately three miles along Route 132 and Route 202.

Beginning Wednesday, September 26 crews will replace a culvert in Winthrop on Route 135, approximately four miles west of the Route 135/202 intersection. This two day event will force the closure of the Route 135/202 intersection. Traffic will be detoured along Route 132 and Route 202, then to Route 135.

Both culverts are in need of replacement to meet current standards.
