EDGECOMB - The Maine Department of Transportation is reminding members of the public to use caution when passing through our work zone at the intersection of Route 1, Route 27 (Boothbay Road), and the Eddy Road in Edgecomb. This intersection improvement project involves lane closures, detours, and new traffic patterns. On-site crews have experienced some close calls. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of MaineDOT staff, our contracting partners, and the members of the traveling public. We're asking members of the public to be patient and extremely careful when navigating this intersection. The project is scheduled to be finished by mid-October.
