PORTLAND - The Maine Department of Transportation will be conducting emergency guardrail repair on the southbound side of I-295 on Friday. The work area will be at mile marker 9 - north of Veranda Street. This repair work is necessary because of last Friday's tractor-trailer crash. Crews will be working from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the work will close the right-hand lane on the southbound side. Main Line Fence of Cumberland is the contractor on this job.
