Brewer ? Crews will be replacing and upgrading intersection signal lights starting today in Brewer. These signal lights and crosswalk safety improvements will be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The intersections that will be upgraded include:
State and North Main Street
State and Penobscot Street
Wilson and Acme Road
State and Wilson Street
Wilson and Main Street
State and Eastern Avenue
Motorists can expect minor delays as crews close one lane at each intersection for the installation of the signal lights. This is daytime work being performed by A.D. Electric, Inc. of Sabattus. All work is expected to be completed in early September.
