General permit

The Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) for Stormwater Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity was due to expire March 7, 2022; to be reissued with an updated permit.

The MSGP is late in being reissued.  The current MSGP remains in effect until the updated permit is finalized and issued.
We expect to begin updating the MSGP in June of 2022.  When a draft MSGP permit is complete, it will be posted for public comment on the Department’s main web page, under Rulemaking and Comment Opportunity.

When the permit is finalized, permittees will be notified to file new NOI’s and NEC’s.
