Group Visits to Maine Wildlife Park
Inspire and connect your crew with Maine's wildlife on a trip to the Maine Wildlife Park. We offer two options for group visits:
- Group Visits for groups of 20 or more
- Educational Group Visits for public, private, and charter schools
Group Visits
For groups of 20 or more
Maine Wildlife Park welcomes a wide range of organized groups for self-guided visits. Group visits are a great option for homeschool groups, camps, youth and recreation programs, enrichment programs, family groups, and other community organizations.
These visits are self-guided and do not include a structured education program. Groups explore the park at their own pace during regular public hours.

$7 per person
Reservation and Payment
Advance reservation required. Advance payment preferred or, one person may pay for the full group upon arrival. Group must arrive and enter the Park together.

Education Group Visits
For school groups with 10 or more students
Education group visits are available to public, private, and charter schools visiting as part of a scheduled school-day instructional program. These visits must take place during the normal school day and be supervised by school staff.
Programs held after school hours, on weekends, holidays, or during school vacation periods do not qualify for education visit rates and should be booked as standard group visits. Homeschool groups, camps, youth organizations, and enrichment programs are also welcome under group admission rates.
Education Group Admission
$7 per person (students, staff, and chaperones)
One staff member or chaperone per 10 students receives free admission. Additional staff or chaperones are eligible for the discounted group rate if they are included in the confirmed headcount in advance. All staff and chaperones are expected to actively supervise students throughout the visit.

Optional Add-On Education Program
Our education programs offer hands-on Project WILD activities for grades Kâ12, led by Maine Wildlife Park's Wildlife Keepers. Through interactive lessons, students explore wildlife, habitats, and conservation concepts, then extend their learning as they tour the park.
- $50 per program
- Available for 10â30 students
- Offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am, 10:45 am, and 11:30 am.

Optional Shelter Rentals (Available to All Visitors)
Shelter rentals are a great add-on for birthday parties, picnics, family outings, and group gatherings. You do not need to meet the 20-person group minimum to reserve a shelter.
Small shelter (two 8-foot picnic tables): $50
Large shelter (eight 8-foot picnic tables): $150

Self-Guided Audio Tour
Enjoy a self-guided audio tour of Maine Wildlife Park during your next visit! Using your cell phone, you can listen to a brief audio recording that aligns with each exhibit at the park.
