Region F - Penobscot Region

From the highlands and trout ponds of Baxter State Park to the lowlands and bass fisheries of the lower Penobscot River, the Penobscot Region is one of the most diverse in the state in terms of both land terrain and fisheries. The region offers a myriad of fishing opportunities for high quality landlocked salmon, lake trout, brook trout, and smallmouth bass. The variety of lakes, ponds, rivers and streams, nestled in a stunningly beautiful setting, are sure to create a memorable fishing experience.
