Materials incorporated into LUPC rules by reference


In accordance with Maine Law, agencies may incorporate by reference all or part of a code, standard, rule or regulation that has been adopted by an agency of the State of Maine or the United States, or by a nationally recognized organization or association. Materials incorporated must be fully identified in rule by exact title, edition or version, and date of publication. Such materials incorporated have the same effect as any other duly adopted agency rule. The following materials have been incorporated by reference within at least one rule adopted by the Maine Land Use Planning Commission.


Note: Materials posted below by the Commission have been created by third parties and later incorporated by reference by the LUPC through a rulemaking process. Thus, the Commission has little ability or right to edit or modify the documents. To maximize accessibility, staff have made administrative edits to the documents without modifying the document content, meaning, or effect. If you encounter issues reading a document, please contact our office. Documents may be replaced with those that are ADA compliant if and when they become available.
