Claims Management Unit
The Claims Management Unit operates under a case management system. Individual case managers process the file from start to finish. Claim administrators benefit from having a single point of contact in the Claims Management Unit.
How to Submit Forms
Payment documents and petitions must be filed with the Workers’ Compensation Board’s Central Office and are considered filed upon receipt by mail, hand delivery, fax, or electronic transfer (email to Forms.WCB@maine.gov) —duplicate paper copies of electronically submitted forms will not be accepted.
To Request Copies of Claims Filing Documents
If you are a directly related party to a workers’ compensation claim, you may request copies of records in your file. Requests must be made in writing and a fee may apply. For assistance or to request copies, please contact Sandy Wade at 207-287-3166 or Sandra.Wade@maine.gov, or mail your request to: Workers' Compensation Board, Attn: Sandy Wade, 27 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0027.
State of Maine Employees
