Attorney General Aaron Frey Supports U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Rule Expanding Access of Abortion Care

AUGUSTA– Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey announced today that he has joined a multistate coalition of 23 attorneys general in filing a comment letter supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) interim final rule that removes exclusions on abortion counseling and establishes broader access to abortion care for veterans and their beneficiaries.
