Sebago Lake State Park Conditions & Activities

Park & Trail Conditions

December 30, 2025 | Trails have not been groomed for the 2025-26 winter season due to lack of snow accumulation. Most trails have been packed down by foot traffic and are traversable. The recent warming/rain has significantly compacted the snow, but has not caused it to ice over. Very sturdy and crunchy, snowshoes are not necessary on packed trails, ice spikes would be helpful but are also not necessary. Winter trail maps are posted at trailheads, major intersections and online. Parking is available at the park headquarters, east area parking lot, boat launch and campground entry booth (Naples). Please avoid parking in the area around the new entry booths, across from the boat launch. Construction is ongoing, and that space is reserved for construction vehicles.
