National Standards
- National School Transportation Specifications & Procedures - Adopted by the 17th National Congress on School Transportation. This national standard is the best practice for areas not addressed by law or rule. The 2025 copy is current. Next update to be determined. The National Congress on School Transportation was held in Des Moines, Iowa. The delegation from Maine attended in May. Members of the delegation were Cheryl Brackett, Delegation Chair, Chris Storer, Lennie Goff, Wayne St. Pierre and Jeffrey Upton.
