As the Maine State Library transitions back to the Maine Cultural Building some services will be limited or unavailable.

How to Request Materials
Browse the Catalog: Explore our collection online at msl-dirigo.na5.iiivega.com and place holds on desired items.
Unable to use the catalog? Email us at circulation.msl@maine.gov or call (207) 287-5600 to let us know which titles you'd like.
Schedule Pickup: Please allow up to 24 hours for processing. We'll notify you via email or phone when your items are ready, and you can then schedule a pickup time. Requests received on Friday will be available the following Monday.
Curbside Pickup Hours
- Monday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
