Bangor ? Crews will be working on Interstate 95 during the overnight hours on the Union Street Bridge project in Bangor. This work involves closing one lane of traffic at a time on the interstate, northbound and/or southbound, to allow for construction to take place safely between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Work will be phased to allow for only one lane to be shut down at a time. The current closure schedule for this week is as follows:
Monday, August 8th: The southbound passing lane will be closed.
Tuesday, August 9th: The southbound travel lane and the southbound on-ramp will be closed.
Wednesday, August 10th: The southbound travel lane and the southbound on-ramp will be closed.
Motorists are encouraged to follow the appropriate construction signage to help guide through the work zones and detours safely.
