Mandatory Maine Home and Community-Based Services Provider Self-Assessment Process

The Office of Aging and Disability Services, is pleased to inform you that the web portal developed by Econsys for the State providers of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) (Sections 18, 20, 21 and 29) is ready for you at: Maine.HCBSCompliance.com

Please sign up by using your EIS Org ID (that is, your organization code), your email address, and a password that you choose. If you have any trouble, contact Econsys .

The portal supports providers of Maine's Medicaid-funded Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) to take all necessary steps to bring their service delivery settings into full compliance with the federal Home and Community-Based Settings Rule by the March 2022 deadline, set for all states.

The State has contracted with Economic Systems Inc. (EconSys) which contracts with a national team of subject matter experts to assist the State in meeting the federal requirements to achieve full compliance with the HCBS Settings Rule by March 2022.

As Maine's HCBS Settings Rule technical assistance contractor, EconSys created this online portal that includes useful resources, virtual training, and fillable forms to ease the burden on providers in completing and submitting the required self-assessments.

EconSys staff are available to answer any technical questions providers may have during the self-assessment process through the helpdesk at helpdesk@maine.hcbscompliance.com .
