Sleeping overnight in your vehicle on State property is not permitted.

Please remember, one and two-hour parking is reserved for visitors to the Cross Building and the Capitol. Time-limited, Legislative, handicap, and other reserved parking areas are monitored throughout the day to ensure that those with designated parking can park where they are supposed to.

A note about parking and snow removal: During the winter months, remember that although lot lanes are kept plowed during a storm, parking lots are cleared of snow after vehicles have left for the day. If you drive a State fleet vehicle, please move it to an area that has been cleared as early as possible the next day. That way, when the snow removal crews return after the storm has passed, they can clean up the area completely
