MaineCare Services is pleased to announce that the PCPlus application period is now open. The open application period runs through Friday, May 12, 2023.
The federal deadline to implement the EVV requirements for Home Health providers delivering services under Section 40 and Hospice providers delivering services under Section 43 happened January 1, 2023.
We continue to offer weekly provider and aggregator trainings and forums. All trainings and forums are online via Microsoft Teams.
NOTE: The Absorb training system has been updated to allow providers to register for trainings and/or forums more than once.
As a follow up to the notice on February 2, 2023, the Department has updated the Behavioral Health Rate FAQ document on billing and authorizations for services for Sections 28 and 65.
Effective March 11, 2023, we have made the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) quarterly updates in MIHMS.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), Section 6401, states that almost all provider types must revalidate their information with MaineCare every five years. Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers are required to revalidate their information with MaineCare every three years. The current round of revalidations began in January 2022.
