In part to provide comprehensive services to Maine Citizens with disabilities, BRS recognizes the importance to collaborate with other public and private organizations. These MOU's identify such agreements.

Financial Aid Administrators The purpose of this MOU is to "coordinate post secondary financial assistance for Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired students, to improve services delivery, and to use program funds properly within Federal and state guidelines." 2000  
The University of Maine System The purpose of this Memorandum is to formalize an agreement with the Maine Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and the Maine Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired (DBVI) and the University of Maine System regarding their responsibilities to individuals with disabilities who are joint clients of the vocational rehabilitation programs and students enrolled in the University of Maine System. 2000
