Welcome to the Maine Adult Resident/Adult Community Corrections Client Search Service

This service provides a free and convenient way to search for information about adult residents/adult community corrections clients in the Maine Department of Corrections system. The search service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Search data is updated on a daily basis.

PLEASE NOTE: Juveniles are not included in the search service.

Who can use this service?

  • Anyone wishing to search for information about active Maine adult residents or adult community corrections clients.

Definitions:

  • Adult Resident: An adult incarcerated at a Maine Department of Corrections facility. For the purposes of this website it also includes adult residents sentenced to the Maine Department of Corrections who are housed in other locations, to include: county jails, other states, and federal facilities.     Please note: If an adult is incarcerated in a jail due to being recently arrested, please contact the jail for the county where the offense occurred for information about them. If an adult has been ordered detained in a jail or sentenced to a jail by a court, please contact the jail for the county where the court is located for information about them. The Department of Corrections does not operate the jails.
  • Adult Community Corrections Client: An adult under the supervision of the Maine Department of Corrections in the community, including an adult under supervision while on probation, supervised release for sex offenders, supervised community confinement, or parole. Important Notes:

  • Please be aware that the information provided through this service IS NOT a complete criminal history. Public criminal histories may be obtained through the online Public Criminal History Request service.
  • The information contained in this service is for informational purposes only. Law Enforcement Officers are advised to take no actions against clients based solely on this information and without consultation with the Department of Corrections.
  • Earliest custody release date is the release date calculated with detention time credit and with all possible good time that the adult resident could earn credited. It assumes that the adult resident will be awarded all possible good time under the good time code applicable to his or her sentence and will not lose any of it.
